The Midland Reef ORIGIN System is designed to support foundation chemistry through controlled, repeatable dosing based on verified test results.

Before You Dose

• Confirm your aquarium system volume.
• Test alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium.
• Record current values before making changes.
• Avoid large chemistry swings.

The ORIGIN Foundation Formula

Alkalinity + Calcium + Ion Balance = ORIGIN Foundation

ORIGIN Magnesium and ORIGIN PLUS are not part of equal-volume daily foundation dosing.

Step 1: Test

Start with reliable test results. Alkalinity should be monitored closely because it often changes faster than calcium or magnesium.

Step 2: Establish Demand

Test at the same time over several days to understand daily consumption. Do not chase single test results.

Step 3: Dose Slowly

Make gradual corrections and monitor aquarium response. Stability is more important than aggressive correction.

Step 4: Use the Foundation System Together

ORIGIN Alkalinity™, ORIGIN Calcium™, and ORIGIN Ion Balance™ are designed as the complete foundation system when dosed together as directed.

Important Product Roles

• ORIGIN Magnesium™ is targeted correction based on magnesium testing.
• ORIGIN PLUS™ is optional trace support and should be fixed-dose or ICP-guided only.
• Neither product should be equal-dosed as part of the daily foundation system.

General Guidance

• Dose according to actual aquarium demand.
• Do not overdose.
• Do not mix products together before adding to the aquarium unless specifically directed.
• Store products sealed and away from extreme heat, freezing, and direct sunlight.
