Shipping policy
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and U.S. holidays). You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a second notification with tracking when it ships.
Shipping Areas
We currently ship within the United States. For shipping inquiries outside the U.S., contact us at midlandreef@gmail.com before ordering.
Live & Refrigerated Products (Phyto Five™)
Phyto Five™ Live Marine Phytoplankton is a refrigerated live product and is handled differently from our chemistry products:
- Live products ship early in the week (Monday–Wednesday) to avoid weekend carrier delays.
- Orders containing live products placed after the weekly cutoff ship the following week.
- Please retrieve your package promptly on the day of delivery — do not leave it outside in heat, freezing temperatures, or direct sunlight.
- Refrigerate Phyto Five™ immediately upon arrival.
If a live product arrives in compromised condition, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos at midlandreef@gmail.com. See our Refund Policy for details.
Chemistry Products (ORIGIN™ System)
ORIGIN™ foundation chemistry products ship via standard ground carriers. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and out of reach of children and pets.
Carrier Delays & Damaged Packages
Once a package is transferred to the carrier, transit times are estimates and outside our direct control. If your package arrives visibly damaged, photograph the packaging before opening and report it to us within 48 hours of delivery.
Incorrect Addresses
Please verify your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrectly entered address. If you catch an address error after ordering, email us immediately and we will attempt to correct it before the order ships.
