Your test said magnesium is low. This fixes it.

ORIGIN Magnesium™ Correction is a targeted magnesium supplement for reef aquariums where testing shows magnesium has drifted below the natural seawater range of 1250–1350 ppm. It is not a daily foundation product — it's a correction tool you use when the numbers call for it.

When to Use It

Magnesium depletion is common in active reef systems. It gets consumed by corals, precipitates with alkalinity compounds over time, and drifts downward without supplementation. Low magnesium causes alkalinity instability, reduced calcium uptake, and slowed coral growth.

If your magnesium test reads below 1250 ppm: dose ORIGIN Magnesium™ Correction until you're back in range. Then switch to a maintenance dose to hold it there.

How to Use

Calculate your target dose based on tank volume and the delta between your current reading and your target (1280–1320 ppm is a common target for mixed reefs). Dose slowly — do not raise magnesium more than 50–100 ppm per day. Retest before each dose.

Do not add this product without testing first. Overdosing magnesium is possible and will affect other parameters.
