ORIGIN PLUS™ Trace Upgrade is optional precision trace support for ORIGIN users who want to go further — expanding beyond alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium into the micronutrient layer that drives coral color, polyp extension, and long-term health in high-demand systems.

What It Adds

ORIGIN PLUS™ delivers a calibrated blend of trace elements that get depleted in active reef systems but aren't replenished by standard foundation chemistry:

• Iodine — critical for zooxanthellae health and coral tissue integrity
• Iron — supports zooxanthellae pigmentation and coral coloration
• Manganese — enzymatic processes and coral metabolism
• Supporting trace elements in precision ratios

Who It's For

ORIGIN PLUS™ is for reef keepers who already have stable foundation parameters and want to address trace element depletion — common in mature SPS systems, high-nutrient environments, or tanks that run frequent water changes that strip traces along with nutrients.

If your foundation parameters are not yet stable, start with the ORIGIN Complete Foundation Kit™ first. Trace support on an unstable foundation won't produce the results you're looking for.

How to Use

Add ORIGIN PLUS™ to your existing ORIGIN dosing routine. Dose per the included guidelines, scaled to tank volume. This is not a foundation product — do not substitute it for alkalinity, calcium, or ion balance supplementation.
